Having overturned a 1-0 loss following the first leg, the hosts went 2-0 ahead in extra-time through Roberto Firmino before two sublime finishes from substitute Marcos Llorente and a late Alvaro Morata strike, secured Diego Simeone’s side passage to the quarter-finals.
