With 30 Tour de France stage wins to his name, Mark Cavendish is regarded as the greatest sprinter in the history of cycling.
The 31-year-old, fresh from a second place finish at the Road World Championships in Doha on Sunday, is one of the headline acts competing in the Abu Dhabi Tour this week.
The competition, which gets underway on Thursday, will start at Madinat Zayed for stage one.
