After agreeing a new new three-year extension to his Barcelona contract, Lionel Messi is now the second-highest paid player in world football and has committed his future to the Camp Nou club until at least 2021.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner and Barca icon has been rewarded for yet another stunning season and it’s been a busy summer for the Argentine, following his marriage last week.
