Manchester United sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan - Five Red Devils midfield stars who could leave Old Trafford

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is the latest arrival at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho’s side captured the 27-year-old Armenia international on a four-year contract after a fee, reported to be around £26 million (Dh123m), was agreed with the German outfit last weekend.

Mkhitaryan becomes United’s third signing of the summer after deals for Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly and former Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

His arrival is likely to signal the exit of one if not more of United’s attacking midfield talent – here’s who we think could leave the Manchester club:

Ander Herrera – Suffered second-season syndrome. Lack of a regular goal threat is a problem.

Juan Mata – Famously dumped bu Mourinho at Chelsea and could be victim again.

Jesse Lingard – A winger who looks excellent until he has to deliver a final ball. Could cost him.

Adnan Januzaj – A once-bright prospect who is quickly fading. Youthaverse Mourinho won’t help.

Marounane Fellaini – A bulldozer, who is not to everyone’s taste. Must hope he has a fan in Mourinho.
