The 36-year-old made his name at Liverpool and has the fifth most appearances for a midfielder in Premier League history.
Despite not winning the title with the Reds, Gerrard did find glory in the FA Cup twice, the League Cup three times, the Community Shield, the UEFA Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and, most memorably, the Champions League in 2005.
