Roy was tragically killed by a motorist whilst riding his bike near Safa Park in the early hours of Friday September 6th 2013 and Saturday’s race was the fourth annual Roy Nasr Memorial Triathlon.
The course began with a swim along the Arabian Gulf waters before the bike ride took triathletes out to the neighbouring roads of the resort and then back to the finish line inside the grounds.
