Holidaying together in the USA for the second consecutive summer, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba have been ramping up their fitness workouts ahead of a new Premier League season, which will likely see Lukaku join Pogba at Manchester United.
On Thursday, the Red Devils agreed a £75 million fee with Everton to sign the forward – a transfer that would make the 24-year-old the second-most expensive footballer in British football history, behind the £89m United shelled out on Pogba this time last summer.
As revealed by Pogba’s Instagram stories, the pair have been training hard before United’s pre-season tour of the United States, with Jose Mourinho’s men set to arrive stateside on Sunday.
It’s unclear whether Pogba and future signing Lukaku will stay in America and meet up with the squad there – or travel back to the UK in the meantime.
