Another day in football, another wave of transfer rumours to keep up on. Take a look at the most recent names and gossip being floated around in the media.
Will any of the following deals happen?
Barcelona will up their offer for Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho to €130million with the club under pressure to make signings following their dismal display in the Spanish Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid, according to Goal.com.
Coutinho has handed in a transfer request and there are rumours he’s prepared to go on strike to force through the move.
The Coutinho saga looks like it will continue on deep into the transfer window and it will no doubt be accelerated by the panic of Barca’s defeat to Real Madrid.
Liverpool, though, hold all the bargaining power and will continue to resist the Catalan club’s efforts, despite the Spanish giants putting pressure on using their general manager, Pep Segura, to claim a deal was close to being finalised.
Manchester United are set to offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic a coaching role once his playing career finishes as talks over a potential new contract get underway.
The Independent reports the prospect has been discussed as Jose Mourinho looks set to sign back the striker after his United contract expired in June.
The Swedish icon’s influence has stretched beyond just his goalscoring impact on the pitch as Mourinho explained at every opportunity last season how much of a good influence Ibrahimovic has been behind the scenes.
Mourinho hasn’t ruled out re-signing the 35-year-old despite the serious knee injury picked up in April as he is making a quicker-than-expected recovery from the issue and offering a coaching role locks down a big character for the future.

Tottenham will reportedly hijack Napoli’s move for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Spurs are the only Premier League club yet to make a signing in the summer window but will launch a £27million for Suarez.
Mauricio Pochettino’s first XI is arguably among the top three in England but beyond that they don’t have plenty of talented options.
Adding the highly-rated Suarez would solve that issue but whether Barca will be willing to sell given their transfer business this summer remains to be seen.
